What is...
reflexology insurance?
Your hands are your tools, and your practice is built on trust. But even with the best intentions, accidents can happen. Reflexology insurance helps protect you from unexpected claims, whether it’s a client injury, damaged equipment, or worse.
At Bionic, we understand your business. Whether you rent a room, work in your own home, we’ll help you find a policy that fits your needs.
Why do reflexologists need insurance?
Reflexology is all about balance and well-being, but running a practice comes with risks. The right insurance could helps keep your business covered in situations like:
- A client claims they experience pain or injury during a session
- A client slips and falls in your treatment space
- Your reflexology tools or equipment are stolen or damaged
- A fire or disaster disrupts your practice
With the right cover in place, you can handle issues that come your way and keep the appointments rolling in.
What does reflexology insurance cover?
Policies will vary per provider, and terms and conditions apply, so always check the small print in your policy wording to see what’s included and excluded. Your insurance package could include:
Public liability insurance
Professional indemnity insurance
Business equipment insurance
Commercial property insurance
Employers liability insurance
What doesn’t it cover?
While reflexology insurance covers a lot, there are normally some exclusions, including:
- Intentional damage – Damage caused on purpose isn’t covered.
- Neglect – Failing to maintain or secure your workspace and equipment can void your policy.
- General wear and tear – Normal ageing or wear on your equipment and tools isn’t included.
Double-check your policy details or speak to our team if you have any questions about what’s covered and what isn’t.

How much does reflexology cover cost?
Reflexology insurance could start from 23p a day*
Because all reflexologists are different, it’s difficult to give an acutal figure for what you’ll be paying without speaking to a broker. This is because your business is unique, and prices depend on a number of factors, including:
- Extent of cover — The more cover you opt for, the more expensive your package will likely be.
- Your insurer — Depending on who is willing to insure you, the price for their policies will vary.
- Location — The location of your business is taken into consideration when calculating the cost of your premiums.
- Claims history — If you’ve made a claim on your policy or had claims made against you, it may affect your future premiums.
Get in touch today to find out how much you could be paying.
*This price is for a trades and professions policy – 10% of customers who were sold with one of our panel providers paid £84.20 or less annually (excluding any additional administration fees) between 01/01/25 & 31/12/2025. Equivalent to £7.02 a month or £0.23 a day (and excludes the extra costs for paying monthly). Your actual policy and price may vary based on your business requirements.
Do you need insurance if you rent a room?
Yes, even if the salon has its own insurance, you’ll still need to consider public liability and professional indemnity insurance yourself to cover yourself against claims from treatments or advice.
